Kevin and co-author Richard Martinez unveil the second of a series of articles which focus on the Murray Spivak /Richard Wilson approach to technique.  The series first appeared in the September issue of Modern Drummer called, "Strictly Technique" and is entitled, The Spivack/Wilson Approach to Technique Part 1: Levers and Wrist Turns. The second article appears in the October issue and is entitled, "The Spivack/Wilson Approach to Technique Part 2: The Seven Basic Strokes.

Kevin is recognized for having studied snare drum technique for 20 years with master teachers Murray Spivack, Richard Wilson & Richard Martinez. Their students included Louie Bellson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Carlos Vega, David Garibaldi, as well as hundreds of others. Despite having turned out some of the most accomplished players of our time, their groundbreaking techniques were never published, and are not widely taught.

Kevin is now able to offer this technique to students around the globe with the aid of Skype and his expert teaching skills.

Kevin Crabb is an accomplished composer and drummer who regulary performs with world class musicians such as Patrice Rushen, Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report, Phil Collins), John Beasley (Miles Davis, Steely Dan), John B Williams (Tonight Show, Manhatten Transfer).
